This will throw some light about the less recognized proprietary trading career in India but already coveted in U.S. Unlike the western world, almost all prop trading firms in India offer a basic salary along with percentage profit sharing. Proprietary trading primarily refers to trading on institutional models facilitated by financial institutions like investment brokers and banks. Recently the term is extended to retail trading in an organized group with discipline and proper training. The main advantage is being motivated by peers and seniors can work wonders for a trader’s development. In India most firms do not ask for any type of money deposit.
